On this week’s Midday Movie Madness Weekly Weekend Warrior podcast, The Nun II scared Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer 3 off the top spot. It’s official One Piece fans-the live action hit Netflix adaptation has been renewed for a second season. What’s this ? What’s this ? I can’t believe my eyes- three famous films ( including a certain 1973 horror film and a cherished Disney Halloween/Christmas stop motion animated musical ) are returning to theaters in October. Plus a new audio-only Buffy the vampire slayer series is coming, detective Hercule Poirot  is back on the big screen trying to solve a creeeepy supernatural mystery and I go back 21 years ago to when those meddling kids and their dog had “a mystery to solve”… on the big screen.
